thinkbridge Academy
Become an engineer who ships production software by directing AI.
You learn to direct and verify what AI builds, prove it on real client work under a human mentor, and finish with a credential and a track record a résumé can't fake. Clients stay when the people serving them get sharper — this is how that sharpening happens.
Direct, don't type
You learn to specify, decompose, and verify the software an AI writes — the skill the work actually rewards, not the syntax you can look up.
Real client work
Once you're screened in, you ship production work with AI in your IDE, read and reviewed by a human mentor — not a sandbox exercise.
Proof, not a certificate
Every passed piece and logged behavior builds a record of how you actually work — the spine of a credential that means something.
The path — three honest steps
-
Prep · free, self-paced, optional
Build With AI
The on-ramp. Seven modules that teach you to direct and verify AI-built software, each gated by a machine-graded mastery checkpoint with unlimited retries and instant explanations.
Coming back at a problem until it clicks is the habit we reward. Open to anyone who applies; it earns no hiring credit.
-
Screen · 90 minutes, closed-book
The Engineering Aptitude Screen
A serious, machine-graded test of how well you direct and verify AI, not how much syntax you have memorized: spec decomposition, definition of done, verification instinct, calibrated trust in the model, and scope-and-outcome judgment, over a small fundamentals floor.
One screen for every track — it measures judgment, not a stack. Every candidate gets a balanced, shuffled set, so no two screens are alike. Honest by design: no webcam, no mic. It opens in windows; you take it when one is open.
-
Academy · six weeks, mentor-graded
The Academy
Clear the screen and you're placed into the track that fits — then a six-week cohort doing real production work with AI in your IDE. Every piece is read, attempted, submitted, and reviewed by a human mentor, then passed, failed with a note, or sent back for more. Senior engineers interview you along the way.
The behaviors that matter — care, communication, accountability, outcome, quality — accrue as a separate stream of evidence and become the spine of your graduation. You finish with a credential and a track record.
Tracks we place into

Your six-week shape
A glance at where you are heading. Detail lives on the map; the full week-by-week plan is at the plan.
Notes from your mentor
Anything your mentor has written for you, across all pieces. Newest first.
What your mentor has noticed about you
The behaviors your mentor logs after each review. These accrete across the six weeks and become the spine of your graduation summary.
